| Who are the Little Pesaukees? Little Pesaukees Playgroup meets every Tuesday and Thursday morning at the Alton Bay Community Center, right on Lake Winnipesaukee in Alton NH. All are welcome to drop in and join the fun! Children enjoy crafts, snack time, free play, reading books and more! The group was founded in March of 2004 by two Alton mothers who were looking for a positive social environment for their small children. The group continues to grow as new families join in the fun! Up to 15 parents and their children attend each session. It is an excellent opportunity for parents to meet other parents in the area and for children to interact with other children their age. The name Little Pesaukees is a play on the name of New Hampshire's largest lake! |
